Dad is of Irish descent, my mother half Irish, half German. I learned early on not to lie to my father, not to cross him, and not to beat him at cards.

Natter Natter - c'mon, now that you're living in a condo, what the heck do you care if it snows a bunch? And it is pretty ... guess we're both supposed to get whacked tomorrow night - us especially - with maybe 40 cm of snow. Wellllll, that might not be so pretty. :-))

Yes Gill good luck - then maybe you'll move to a place where they actually have seasons - snow and all (Lucretia!!!) - it never gets boring. :-))

My kids all knew that, lying would get them in far deeper than anything else. Magna est Veritas et Prævalet. Now beating me at bridge, not nice but I will survive, I just try to always be a winner though lol

Don't start bitching already kid !!! Sure I live in a condo - everytime they fire up the lawnmowers or the snow plough is trekking around I smile like a Cheshire Cat lol I'll think of you as I drive out from my underground parking though when not a shovel has touched my hand :)

Too true but they are coming Wednesday to replace the livingroom windows, all 17ft of them and the flooring people to replace the hardwood. That wouldn't be too bad but I have six people coming to dinner Saturday night. Good job they are tolerant, so long as I feed them they will not look at any left over mess lol

The ice is

The air isn't - we were joking we were heading into the bathrooms just to warm up.

I'm just off the Bay road, a little way up from the rotary. I'm looking out the windiw right now,and I'm wondering if there'll be bus service this afternoon. Hopefully the sanders are out in force! It's definitely worse today than it was Saturday!

I arrived home, Dunbrack/Willett, at 2:45 and it was very slippery then but surely they will have ploughs and salt trucks out before everyone is leaving work - this is not going to be nice for workers this afternoon.

We should meet for coffee, you're just a stones throw away lol
