I saw on the Rainbow Gallery site that they have a new floss called "Mandarin" made from bamboo. The site describes it as having a soft matte finish, which is what appealed to me.
Has anyone worked with Mandarin or Bamboo in the past? What are it's characteristics - for example: is it washable, does it wear well, is it brittle (making it necessary to work with short threads) or can longer lengths be used, etc?
