Well you could knock me down with a feather.I got a 2nd prize for the chairladies challenge today at our bi-annual exhibition. It was red and white.I did a small WH which I started before our visit to US, and then had to rush to finish with 1 hour to spare.The 1st prize was lovely,hand pieced and quilted. I havent taken a picture yet but will tomorrow! yippie!

Congratulations, Estelle, what a great surprise :-)) Can't wait to see the pics, too Heidi from Germany ( Wow, I'm really in an exclusive block-swap, Marina and Estelle have quilts in an exhibit, Jessamy publishes patterns, I'm curious what comes next ... :-) )

I won the bowl of fruit at our weekly 'slimming' club weigh in. I'd lost 2lb. somehow! Everyone else but one other had put weight on. Its not a very serious slimming club - more social. We pay £1 a week and a piece of fruit for the fruit boiwl, and when we have enough money we go out for lunch!! Whoever has lost most/put least on gets the fruit.
