Jake was dying. His wife, Becky, was maintaining a candlelight vigil by his bedside. She held his fragile hand, tears running down her face. Her praying roused him from his slumber; He looked up and his pale lips began to move slightly. "Becky my darling" he whispered. "Hush my love," she said. "Rest don't talk." He was insistent "Becky," he said in his tired voice, "I have something that I must confess." "There's nothing to confess," replied the weeping Becky, "Everything is alright, go to sleep." "No, no. I must die in peace, Becky. I.....I slept with your sister, your best friend, her best friend and your mother!" "I know, sweetheart." whispered Becky, "let the poison work."

For some reason, I just can't seem to find these "jokes" about people murdering others funny.
Lighten up. Not everyone thinks the same. Personally I'm sick of a few that are trying to police what others write. We still have freedom of speech, even though some try their damnedest to do away with it. Only you are responsible for your feelings---don't like it-don't read it! We can't possibly know what offends and what doesn't. Jokes may offend you, but the holier than thou attitude of some posters offend me! Gen
I am confused. If it is okay to post a joke because of freedom of speech, why is it not okay to say one doesn't like the joke? If one is 'offended' by a joke, the advice to not read it is sensible. So, can't the people who are 'offended' by the ones who state don't like the joke follow the same advice? That way *they* won't be 'offended' either. Is Jalynne required to like every joke? Besides Jalynne didn't even mention being 'offended.' If she (or anyone else) likes it, can she say so? If she (or anyone else) doesn't like it, can she also say so? The 'alleged offenses' are starting to confuse me!! We might need a whole 'offense' FAQ, but don't ask me to write it!!
PAT ... offended by those quilt greml> Lighten up. Not everyone thinks the same. Personally I'm sick of a few
