A Message from Pandora - re: the Directory

I admire the effort and dedication the two of you put into this twice yearly tome. I personally do not mind what it comes as (though carved into 5 kilo bars of Belgian chocolate would be nice!), just so long as it arrives! :)

I hereby second this motion, and request that mine be made of 70-75% cacao bittersweet chocolate.

Ok, I am willing to carve the directory into the chocolate bar of your choice, just send the bars to me and I will return them - someday :)

No worries. Variety is the spice of life. I'm sure I'll enjoy all the varieties I receive - for the Directory of course.

I haven't been posting much, or lurking even.. Did I miss the post to update directory info? I've actually forgotten the last time it was updated.

Lisa, the next revision process will commence in early August. Watch the newsgroup for the notice that the form is open. It will be open for several weeks and then closed. No other form of notice will be sent.

I'm looking forward to it, but please -- post the notice more than once, OK? With so many posts here, there is no way I can even attempt to "keep up." But I'll be looking for you in August. I just don't want to miss it.

Patti, I wasn't necessarily looking to make it easier for me, I just wanted to make sure what I end up sending meets the needs of the users. This is my first time as "team leader" on this project, and I was scoping out the job. I was also exploring other options, but it seems that the spreadsheet that can be sorted and contorted and the text version that prints well and is easy to read are the two leading contenders. Everyone was great to submit suggestions and help me brainstorm!

Oh, I do, Rene. Last time folks got tired of seeing the posts but you need to do your part as well and read through them to find the notices. Even with all the reminders, some folks missed the deadline.
