I had my sweet grandson for the weekend (he's the one referenced in my siggy line), and he actually showed a big interest in sewing while I was preparing some binding for a baby quilt so I got some scraps and showed him the sewing machine and he sewed his first seam with me by his side! I may have a quilter in this family yet! He loved it! And was he proud of his stitching. "Look how straight I sewed, Nana" he said beaming from ear to ear! I must have done something right. He went off to play with some construction paper and came to me with his scissors and asked if they were ok to use on paper! It was a good day!
