Quilters show up in the most unusual places too.

Today I met a male quilter. He is an electrician working at our "so new it's not open for business yet" Walmart. He makes quilts for Christmas presents for some of his family members every year. He really didn't look like a quilter--30 something, spikey hair, black rocker t-shirt, no thread bits on his clothes, and a spooky tatoo on his arm--but the smile on his face when he talked of quilting, well only a quilter would have that kind of smile.

No 'thread bits' on his clothes? Sounds very suspicious to me. Even our Yorkie, who is a QI but not a quilter, carries his thread bits proudly. Do you want us to check him out for you? Polly and the gators "Debra" wrote

It's probably OK, Polly. After all, he was at work - he probably has quilting clothes and work clothes - like most people have gardening clothes >gg< . In message , Polly Esther writes

Are you and the gators going to check him out, or are YOU going to check him out? PAT in VA/USA, who thinks that guy sounds, more or less, like several female quilters she knows ;)

Sounds fine to me! I know several quilters with tattoos and one with spikey hair! It's the smile that's the key. ;)

Is he single?? Maybe we need to do some good old fashioned match making!!

If his Mom or Dad is a quilter, maybe he's a stitch off the old block.

First thing I thought was, DD#1 needs to meet this fella.

NightMist Still try>30 something sounds good to me ;-D

yup nowadays if you are a divorced mom with small kids and a silly day that your ex takes the kids you are left with few ways of finding the next potential Mr. right. in my case there is only online dating - not my way of choice but the only option I have

(btw.. my Mr right doesn't need to quilt but does need to be handy LOL)

Hey, nothing wrong with online dating. :D Works for me!

Worked well for me. Met Jerry over 15 years ago. They have been the best years of our lives. julia
