Just watched this report on ABC evening news:

Charlie Gibson told about the Piecemakers Quilting Group in Henderson, Nevada (haven't we heard of Henderson, NV ? ) making quilts for cancer victims and those with other illnesses. Way to go, Quilters!

What a lovely story! Thanks for posting the link, Sandy. I've never heard of this group, but that's probably because it's not my church and because the women don't do it through the local guild.

It's my flavor church, one of our "sisters". I was inspired this week to re-join the guild bee that meets at our church; rearranged my schedule and will enjoy getting back in that crowd.

Anyway, neat story online. ;-)

I'd already read the story, Sandy, but thanks for pointing out the video clip. It was very touching -- that last part about the smallest quilts made me cry.
