A request for prayers

Mar 04, 2010 14 Replies

A dear friend has had a severe stroke. I am fearing the worst. She recovered so well from one a few years back, and really worked hard to keep her health despite many problems. Though not a member of this group, she is a keen quilter, and I take pride in having got her sewing again after a long hiatus.

Please add her to your list of prayers and good wishes. Dear Julie, my delightfully dotty friend from Texas, who has made her home here in the UK for 40 years.

May the angels watch over her and help her find the strength to fight her way back once again.

For your dear friend Julie, prayers from Mississippi. For the REST of you dear friends - that sweet old doctor on FOX news gives us a health tip each week. This week's: eating a dark chocolate bar with walnuts at least once a week is very effective in stroke prevention. I haven't been able to think of a bar with that combination. Polly
