Activity check -- or How many posts?

Howdy!

Before I go checking up on my server, someone(s) please tell me: are there fewer posts here on RCTQ this week? Fewer than say.. oh.. 100 per day? 75 per day? Traffic seems light, but I haven't been paying much attention. I have been quilting, and getting the a/c fixed/replaced, and watching it rain, and pulling weeds, and... elsewhere. ;-)

Lucky you, got some rain! Would you send a little of it my way? Tucson seems drier than usual lately.

I think the holiday lessened the number of posters. Folks are quilting, or picnicking (sp?), or involved with Veterans' activities, or spending time with family.

We are having the fall out from the second tropical storm-Barry. Over

5 inches of rain last night and more today. Of course we have had only 1/2 the normal rain this year. Down by about 9 inches. At least it will knock our the fires until the wind fries everything again. Makes livng more enjoyable.

Gee, I was only absent a few days, and you see a major drop in posts?? Wow!

I was traveling, midweek, and supporting LQS. I visited Jinny Beyer's Shop in Great Falls, Virginia where I bought about 3 yards of sale fabric. Then I was in Gaithersburg, Maryland where I found a couple more coordinates for the JB fabric, so I bought some of that too. Over the holiday weekend, I had been in South Carolina and TRIED to go to Mary Jo's in North Carolina. on the way home. It was closed, being Sunday, so I just got to peek in the window.

Now I really need to tidy the guest room for a very welcome guest, DSis#2. This is fun work, because it involves blocks and other goodies. Funny how that big queen bed becomes an 'extension of the sewing room!' LOL. TTFN,

Howdy!

That would explain it; checked posts today & it's already up over 100.

Thank you for doing your part to keep the lqs going, Pat. It's a noble mission and you have filled it well. (don't stop now!) ;-D
