almost ready to go...

tomorrow I will be off on my first quilting retreat :-D my stash will be guarded by my Oldest DS's Blue monsters - we adults can't see them but they are certainly exceedingly good at making the thing you want disappear. As I'd like to find *some* of my stash on return please don't want something from *every* box

I've packed the port, chocolate cake and liquorice allsorts as well as 2 Disney Cars "kits" I cut myself (one for each son) to sew while there, the BOM blocks, sashing and border fabrics, a mini project and my insane hexagon project and I'm going to grab one UFO at random to do while there too... I will probably get *nothing* done on anything but well I want to be prepared after I have cleaned my sewing machine, oiled it and filled a pile of bobbins I will pack that too - I'm going to look like a pack horse with 3 bags, a basket and a sewing machine

It's too bad that your quilting retreat isn't the end of *next* week. If that was the case, you'd have a ONE POUND BAG of mixed flavour Jelly Belly jelly beans to take with you =8-O (can you guys believe that

*that's* what Jessamy said she wanted when I asked for ideas on what to bring her from this side of the pond!!). I just got back from running my errands and got you the bag and also got one for DH and myself to nosh on during the flight over there. You bag will be packed in my carry-on suitcase that will be stowed in the over head bin so that I don't get the bags of jelly beans mixed up and start to eat yours :-). MY bag will go in my needlework carry-on that will be down by my feet -- the easier to get to, of course. See you in a few days!! CiaoMeow >^;;^<
