of another project. Nothing fancy, just a cover for the fireplace to keep the cold air from coming in! One morning we actually had ice on the slate fireplace surround!!

Oh, that's a nice one; reminds me of the latest windows of the Cologne Cathedral by a modern artist:
I'm thrilled that you think my little quilt resembles such a work of art! The window is beautiful, although I couldn't get the second link of the closeup to work. I once saw the Pope when he visited Cologne!!

What a neat idea and it sure looks great, too.

TAke the "Of" off the end of the address. Works for me--

So clever! What a great idea and so perfect for what you needed it for. Now nothing but warmth will come thru!

I've been off line for about a month but I'm back now. Just about finished with a Pineapple quilt....just needs the binding on. So glad to get this quilt finished. UGH I was starting to hate it.
Wow! That worked, and it does look like my quilt!!

We've thought of that. We burn the gas logs just to keep the cold air from coming in! Last year I stuffed a blanket up into the flue!! Now I can reverse the quilt in the summer to the all-black side and place the fake plants in front. Just kidding.....
That's what I thought, too. Worth the effort to look, seems you have good, artistic taste in colors.

See, great mind think alike. ;-)
