I'm looking for a Webshots alternative, and Fotki seems to get good reviews. I've had a not-very-active PBase account for several years for photography and love the look, but hardly anybody seems to use it for quilting and such.

Any reason why you don't like flickr.com? I have used it and I'm pretty happy. The quality is good and you tend to get a good bit of feedback from other "flickr-ites" at times.

No reason not to like Flickr. Just read a roundup of various sites and the reviewers seemed particularly impressed with Fotki. And since I've had an account with PBase for years, I was curious to know what other quilters thought about that one since there seem to be very few of use using it.
I'll check into Flickr a bit more. Are you using a free or paid account?
