baby quilt

Feb 13, 2009 2 Replies

Hello all,

I am a newbie to this group but have belonged in the past and have sewn for years. But it has been years since I have sewn last. I am expecting my 3rd. grandbaby and it's a girl!!! I have made quilts for all the babies in the family. They are usually from a pattern and some kind of applique. I don't know how to "quilt" in the formal sense of the word. Anyone know of any good websites for good patterns? Also, where are the pictures posted on this group?

Thanks, Nancy

Congratulations, Nancy!

You'll find LOTS of patterns on the web. Try a Google search for "free quilting patterns" then look at the various magazines' sites. If you need them, I can post links to miscellaneous sites, but won't be able to for a couple of days.

As far as pics for the group, lots of us have links to picture sites (like webshots and picasa and pbase, etc.) in our signatures...
