Anyone had trouble ordering Linda's Longarm Quilting DVD?

I ordered the Series 1 DVD set from LindasLongarmQuilting.com, a few months ago, and did not receive the goods I paid for. I tried contacting them, (email and phone) but haven't heard any replies. I called Linda's Electric Quilters, but was told this company had bought the rights to distribute the DVD Series, and they are not affliated with this company. So, now I am in the process of getting my money back through my credit card company, but I was wondering, has anyone else out there been duped like me? The website looks so legitimate, yet I can't find a shred of evidence on the net that there has ever been a problem. Be wary, everyone! After this experience, I'm not so sure ordering on-line is that safe!

just a thot or two... the website LindasLongarmQuilting.com still works or appears to be working. this is located in Tacoma, WA. Lindas Electric Quilting also up and working, is in Melissa, TX. i cant make out how that works, oh well. the pix on the DVD looks like the same Linda as on the Lindas Electric Quilter website too. appears to be the same person with the same name, fwiw. i cant understand why they'd tell you they have no connection to the other site. what i read on Lindas Electric Quilting site says Linda Taylor is the one who did the PBS TV show. they must of had some 'affiliation' to the first site at one time or another. someone made money charging you for that DVD and with her name on the DVD and the sales website she ought to honour that sale and send you a replacement set as goodwill if nothing else.

both sites show Gammill Quilting Machines as sponsors. with proof (credit card receipt or statement) you were charged for the DVD and all the info of what you did to get the DVD delivered...might Gammill be interested in the customer service or lack thereof, of those they sponsor? could be worth an email to Gammill as well? just a thot... jeanne

Thank you for the suggestions and support. I certainly had the same thoughts! I think I will send an email to Gammill, they ought to know about it, too.

Thanks again, and Happy New Year!
