As for long-arming over the raw edge applique, the plan is that the quilt will be loaded on a day when I'm off from work and can baby sit the stitching, holding down the edges as the needle passes over. At least that's the plan. :>

Very cute! I actually chose the same fabric line for my second daughters quilt right after she was born. I bought a jelly roll of it (it is sanctuary by the way!) cut the strips in half and made a colorado log cabin with it on one side and an off white on the opposing sides. It is pretty much done but I haven't decided how I want to quilt the white parts yet :(
She will love it! I have an almost three year old and anything so pink and girly is sure to be a huge hit. Morag
