BOM 2006

So I have been slowly working on the pieced BOM for 2006. I have completed April, May and June so far. I spent a while today getting pictures and downloading them and adding them to my shutterfly account. As I was captioning the June block I looked at it again and thought.... There's something wrong with it!! I don't know why but I seemed to have problems putting this one together. I kept sewing the squares together in the wrong order. And when I thought i was done there was another square turned around wrong ARGHH!! So I picked it out turned it around and finally it is done. So I have to share my pictures with you now after all that frustration!!



I hope shutterfly collections work for this newgroup. I haven't seen many using it.

Isn't that frustrating! But not as frustrating seeing it for the first time after the quilt is quilted! ARGH!!!

So far so good... your blocks are pretty!

Looks great, I really like your background fabric.

My sewing day today was spent with the seam ripper in my hand.... many times, just wasn't a good day.

Thats going to be a really pretty quilt.

I did like ther look of Shutterfly. It didn't seem as overrun by flashing/moving adverts as Webshots has started to be, and the layout was good. I think the new format of Webshots involves too much scrolling for either getting the next picture or for seeing the picture's title/comments.

Pity they aren't like banks where you decide to change and the new bank does all the transferring for you!

Thanks for the kind words, everyone. They are a confidence boost.

I fell in love with the background fabric and bought it without knowing what I was going to do with it. I'm just building my stash so I have been sticking mostly to fat quarters. As I was contemplating it I could hear a bunch of you in the background saying "if you love it and gotta have it then buy 2 or more yards" so I did!! I 'm glad now because I see that it plays really nice with other fabrics.
