Does anybody know of an online store that sells quality, name brand batiks/hand-dyed fabric at a *really* good price? I want as much fabric as I can get for my $$$. ;-)

My favorites are two ebay shops: sirisofcalifornia
--Heidi, also addicted to batiks and finally about to get the fabrics unpacked after the move
My first thought was cheap and batiks or hand-dyeds just don't go together...unless you have a friend who hand-dyes her own fabric and is nice enough to send you some! :)
Tigg (who got a bit of batik (not name brand) at WalMart not long ago, but it has a whole different feel than Bali.)
oooooooooooooo-nnnnnooooooo And here I was being soo good to not look at more fabric to buy...
Sigh. My excuse is I will be making stockings for the boutique next year. I designed a paperpieced-cowboy boot holiday stocking. The first one went to my co-worker's year-old grandson [he was a 1 lb preemie, now weighing in healthy and chubby] and, of course, I will need fabric, right?!

Leslie,
I visited materialpleasure.com today, and on the home page it says all fabrics are now $6.75 a yard. I've never ordered from them so can't vouch for them, but that sounded like a pretty good price and they carry Hoffman, Moda, etc.
Where is Karen when you need her?
She has an ebay store she orders batiks from. I shopped there once and was amazed at the huge selection they had, and the low prices. But we have gotten a new computer since, DH wiped out my bookmarks (AAaarrgghhh) and I can't remember the name of the place to save my life!
Come on Karen - turkey sleep is over, time to wake up
Hugs, Tina
Was it Siri of California? Or Bowman's? Both of them sell Hoffman Balis for much less than I can find it elsewhere, and they ship promptly. NAYY...but here are the links:

Just a note for Tina on bookmarks. If you get the Yahoo toolbar, you can bookmark stuff on it and it saves them to somewhere in your yahoo i.d. (assuming you have one here) and then you never lose them when something goes wrong with your computer since they aren't saved to your hard drive. I started doing it that way since my computer is pretty old by computer standards and I have to wipe the hard drive every now and then and start over from scratch.
Tigg (who'd love a new computer but that's not going to happen any time soon.)
materialpleasure.com is a wonderful site. The owner has been very responsive to all my inquiries.

Thanks for that info, Susan. I've been thinking about ordering from them, and it's good to have a positive review!
