Confession

Okay Ladies, I must make a confession. Remember last year when I lost or should I say tossed by accessory box to my newly received 301. Welllllll, when I was moving things around in my sewing room I had to move my cutting table and wal la - there it was my long lost accessory box! So now I have two. I promise to take better care of my possessions, or at least try harder.

Yes, I remember. I mourned with you, but I agree - spare parts are never bad. All I ever find when I move things about are Yorkie squeaky toys. Polly

Whoops, I've just done a similar thing. I "lost" the lead to my Batik wax pot last year and it has taken me a year to get around to finding a replacement! Just been reorganising/painting my room before it has to double up as guest room and voila!I now have 2.The second is a longer lead though and is more useful. That's my story and I'm sticking to it! lol

I am really happy for you! The number of times I have done something similar... :( Right now the puzzle is where the new cone supports for my serger got to. I bought a set when the Toyota and Huskylock ended up sharing (I trod on a few... Happens when you drop them and you have the wrong specs for seeing as far as your feet on coz you are sewing!), and they promptly vanished after one use! Now ONE of the four has turned up ON A WORK BENCH in the sewing room! Humph! Maybe I should destack it and the stack of sewing machines and bits beside it. They could be in the fireplace down behind there!

our telephones have a pager function. when i can't find i last put (of course not in its official holder), i go to the master station, press button, and the remotes start ringing. other than the time i left it in the cellar and could hear a faint ringing. finally had to get a friend to call me so i could find the one in the cellar.

probably too hard to put ringers on the cone holders though.
