Done! Follow up to unquilting

I just want to say thank you to everyone who gave words of encouragement when my husband and I were "unquilting" the quilt that ended up with multiple pleats and folds on the back. The quilt is done:

That is absolutely beautiful. I know it was a pain to unquilt, but oh, what a wonderful result. Your niece will love it!

I'm so glad you didn't give up on this quilt, Trixie! It is simply stunning! What a captivating medallion. And the way you fussy cut the fabric for the blocks and borders is just awesome. I hope to work up to this level of expertise sometime.

If I'd made this quilt, I'm not sure I could part with it. Lucky, lucky niece!

LOL! Yeah, I can see that, having had the desire to take a pair of scissors to some of my projects and cut them into itty-bitty pieces. ;-)

Good thing my Madness quilt wasn't a gift. My reaction was just the opposite. No way I was going to subject my quilt to popsicles, hairy-legged louts, pizza and eau d' coconut sun screen. I may get over it but for now the quilt stays in my cold little hands. Polly
