Well my queen size lone star is done and it looks good! The whole quilt is stippled with the exception of the striped border and the star itself. I designed the feathers to fit the quilt and this was my first attempt at both making my own feathers and stippling.

Thank you. Yes, for a queen size it is a little big. I think it ended up measuring
98 x 110". If there is one thing I can't stand is a quilt that isn't REALLY big enough for the bed it was made for. My idea of a king size quilt is at least 115" wide, I try to aim for closer to 120". It is a pain in the butt to quilt but it is worth it in the end when you put it on the bed and it actually covers the whole side of the bed without the box spring peeking through. Although that final measurement is also determined by how high the bed is too ;)Beautiful!! I love the quilting, that is stunning.
