I recieved some 30's repo why is it white on the wrong side of the fabric.

Because it is a print and they only printed one side. Hopefully it is a nice dense fabric.

Because the fabric starts as white and gets printed on one side. If the pigment soaks through, you seen the design on the back side. The less it soaks through, the less you see. If it doesn't soak through at all, you see white. (Pretty rare, nowadays.)
The ink didn't soak through to the back. I'd wash it to make sure the rest of it doesn't wash out.
Kathy: Did you wash it as suggested? I hope it comes out okay. Who is the manufacturer of this fabric? I'm nosy! PAT in VA/USA
