Wow! You guys are hungry for summer and ice cream eh?

Basically what I have thus far is 6" blocks, you pick the pattern and make all the same pattern in brown, pink and cream (thinking of chocolate, strawberry and vanilla ice cream). Then, when finished, mail off to the rest of the group and patiently (or maybe not so patiently) await for yours to arrive as well. Place in the mail no later than June 1st, maybe?

I'll work on it some more, but keep the questions flying!

I can't believe I'm actually saying "count me in" to a block swap - but I am. I am especially loving these new neapolitan pinks and browns that are coming out. Just let me know how many blocks to make.

I was in a swap of this colour scheme - two rounds actually - and I don't even like pink. Well, I didn't like pink, but now I've come round. The colours work really well together, and someone asked if Civil War reproduction fabrics are okay - I'm using some now and they work really well. I like the old browns and double pinks together with some tiny brown shirting on ivory. Really nice!

I started these blocks for a quilt for my sister, but now I want one too!

Ok, guys, I'll start putting my brain to work on this over the weekend and have something posted by Monday. (Maybe before if the kids behave.) Boca Jan has offered the blockswaps groups over at Yahoo! Groups to run this little exchange...so we'll get everyone joined up over there. Looks like we may have about 10-12 swappers already (with a couple of people that want to be clones of themselves and do it double!)
