Wow!! This day may turn out to not be quite so bad after all. Here I have been packing all morning and getting ready for yet another trip to Iowa for court. Yep, it's the third trip in 3 months and two in the last 6 weeks. So I'm not much of a happy camper at the moment. But, I went out to the mailbox just hoping and praying that my thyroid medication would be there since I am out. Low and behold there was another large package in there the felt all soft and squishie. To my utter amazement and joy and surprise and all that stuff.... I had a package from the FabShopHop.
Needless to say I raced back into the house to see what was in it. I received 1 yard each of five different fabrics in beautiful tans. They are all floral and just beautiful. The thing is, I am more of a bright color person but have been wanting to venture into the more muted shades like these, the browns, tans, greens and so on.. Now I don't have an excuse to keep putting it off. I have visions of the quilts that these fabrics will become a part of. And they smell fabulous. I just love the smell of new fabric. This is just perfect. I am so excited. Oh and also in the package was a Cleo And Me pattern for a Snowman Carolers Penny Rug. It is just too cute.
Thank you all for being such a wonderful group. If it weren't for you all I would never have found out about the FabShopHop and I would never have gotten these wonderful fabrics.
On a side note. Any prayers and good wishes for our court hearing on Monday would be most welcome. I'll let you all know how it went when we get back next week.
Thanks, Mika
