Finished Dec. BOMs so far

I did the pieced block (HARD - never did get everything to quite match!!!), and both of the paper-pieced ones since I couldn't make up my mind which to try. Since we're waiting on Elly to be up to full computer power to give us the appliqué pattern for December, I had time to do the second paper-pieced one.

I love those Carole. You have such a wonderful eye and choice of colours.

Beautiful, Carole! I'd never guess things didn't match on that one block

-- they're all lovely. :)

Thanks Estelle and thanks Sandy. I think I've been lucky with the colros and fabrics so far. I've added a few fabrics to the ones I started with, but the new ones have blended in well.

I figure the mismatched seams >I love those Carole. You have such a wonderful eye and choice of colours.

Beautiful, Carole. I can hardly wait 'til you've finished this quilt. It's going to look fantastic. And the colour scheme is still stirring my heart! . In message , Carole-Retired and Loving It writes

Your colors are so pretty! I'm caught up too, although only 1 of the PP blocks. Mine are 4.5", and I just couldn't face the more fiddly one :-p For the pieced block, to get rid of some seams, I made 1 center square on point, 4 flying geese, 4 corners with the 2 little triangles attached, plus

4 setting triangles around the edges. Roberta in D

Uff da -means I have to get out the camera! Clear off the design wall to make room for the blocks! Download photos! Won't happen today, maybe later this week. But you surely deserve a peek after all your work! Roberta in D

Roberta, you need to invest in a scanner. Those small blocks would easily fit in one. I scan in my DJ blocks to post on my blogspot. So much easier and less hassle than a camera and design wall where you also got to think about lighting etc. The only down fall is that it shows up every itty bitty flaw even when in real life they look absolutely perfect, but to heck with the quilt police eh?

Camera, scanner, no difference really. They both work through my 4-in-1 printer. And the scanner function takes longer to process for some reason! Of course, I could do 2 at a time... Roberta in D
