It's beautiful Sandy. Your colors are gorgeous! I love how you are so adventurous & try new things. I LOVE Cherrywood fabrics. At PIQF this year, I couldn't think what project needed the Cherrywood fabrics, so I'm just going to have to place an order for them, after I pick a pattern.

Thanks, Pauline! :) You're really sweet. I know just what you mean -- I've loved Cherrywood fabrics for a long time, and this is the first time I've been able to make anything from them (or even buy them ). Let us know what you decide!

Oh no! Then I'd really *have* to give up my vest, and I haven't even worn it yet! ;O

Sandy, your wrote leaves me breathless! You are one talented lady and then some. Your Seminole vest is priceless. I'd wear it with a beautiful blue turtle neck and I'd think it would go with blue jeans just as well as nice slacks.

Were would I be able to find this pattern? I'll look after I send this but if you know exactly where, well, why make it hard. ;)

Thank you so much for sharing. You're truly an inspiration!

Thanks, Donna! You're really sweet. :) I don't see the pattern on the Cherrywood site, though it's easy enough to order a set of FQs to make the vest, if you decide to use these fabrics. The pattern is available here: , though they don't give instructions on how to do the back; they just made a plain back. If you want to do the pieced back, it's done just as the front is, except that the seminole strip is added by hand after putting the strips on each side of the center back. I hope that was clearer than I think it was!

So we put the timer on while we all have coffee together - 15 minutes a person and then back to the Keeper of the Vest it goes! :)
