Firefly update: OT

May 28, 2010 22 Replies

Firefly has been ACCEPTED in one of the Clinical Trials in Houston. Fortunately, Navy Niece (her Sis) lives in that area. She will be taking it in co-ordination with the chemo she is on. She said to let you know she still takees her hug with her.

Please pray that it works......her oldest DD is just 7.

That's the first step to good news, Butterfly. Thanks for letting us know. How marvellous that she will be near family. . In message , Butterflywings writes

YEEE HAAA! First step on the long road home. Send all my good wishes and prayers to her.

Glad she will be close to family while she is undergoing this new treatment. Barbara in SC

Great news...prayers and hopes the clinical trial helps. It's great she's able to stay with family during the treatments.

Sending my (((((FIREFLY))))) hugs and prayers for a positive outcome! ME-Judy

A million prayers that Firefly gets a miracle. Seems to me that those with little kids deserve a better kind of grace than maybe the rest of us. She has so much important work still to do. I'm glad she has a hug to carry with her. I'll keep her in my prayers and thoughts.

Thanks. It's good to be in your 'own bed' at night. Butterfly

Thanks. I hope you can get comfort, also. It would be soooooo nice to wake up one AM without PAIN. Wonder what that would feel like. Hmmmmmmm

Butterfly

Prayers that this trial will help her recover are going up! Donna

We're 'relieved' as they are so many factors that have to be met before they'll even consider you. Once her name is 'in' she will be contacted down the road if this one doesn't work.

Tell Firefly that she and family are still in my prayers. Is she going to M.D. Anderson Medical Ctr in Houston? I have a buddy who did VERY well going there. Pat in Virginia

Thanks and yes. She'll be happy to know that.

Butterfly

Good! I should add that he is STILL doing well. Pat
