Fondling

This is almost OT, but still deals with one of our addictions. Fondling. I found out recently that my 5yo dgd is a fondler. I had an unfinished quilt top that I made about 15 years ago. All pinks, peaches and a little lavendar. When I ran into that top I realized that I had unknowingly made it for her. She loves it. Not the top, but the backing. I put about a yard and a half piece of "my little ponies" in the middle of the backing and bordered it with a pink polka dot. Well you can guess which side is displayed up. She fondles it, she pets it and hugs it.

Now, here is her best idea yet. When she was here last week, she collected a grocery bag of fabric scraps. She carried this around like a purse, so whenever she wanted she could just sit down and play with the scraps. I never go grocery shopping hungry! I always try to eat first. Now how would that work at the fabric store. Would it work if I could do some fondling in the car before I actually go in the fabric store? Or would I actually have to carry it in. VBG

Vikki, I think you should try it just as soon as possible. Some of us need help and if that will do the trick, we'll be in your debt. Polly
