For KJ.( I think)

I think it was Kathyl or could be totally wrong but a while back there was posted a link on "how to" easy piece circles. It involved a prit stick(glue stick) and freezer paper, and s m close to that. Sorry to be so vague, I even did it, but cant find the link. My memory is not so good these days.lol. I believe KJ did it with lots of batiks in an oval shape.I could of course be totally wrong in which case it certainly is cause for the men in white suits to come and take me away. Can anyone point me in the right direction please!TIA

Not time yet for the men in white suits, Estelle. Kathyl did a lovely quilt top in oval batiks. I suspect we will have to go take it away from her to get it quilted. As to which method she used, I just have no idea. Have a little patience, she may still be out hunting Easter Eggs. Polly

Yup, that was me! Don't worry about the men in white suits....I think they have an appointment at my house anyway. I had to think a bit to remember how I did it. It was a technique shown by Dale Fleming on Simply Quilts....I also have her book...of course. (My quilt library rivals our guild's.)

This shows the steps very well.If this doesn't refresh your memory enough, let me know and I'll see if I can help. Unless the men in the coats are here...then I'll have to get back to you.

OH Polly Polly Polly.....you know me all too well! Nope, it's not quilted yet. I figure they need to age a while....that way they aren't so new and I'm not as worried about screwing them up when I try to quilt them. I'm no longer quite as attached.

Raflol. That's it!! Thankyou so much. It all comes back to me now! I will also get the book I think. We don't/didn't have Simply Quilts but there are a lot of beginners very excited about a new channel. Rural TV that is showing some old Eleanor Burns "Quilt in a day" on our British TV. I suppose its progress in the right direction!
