The quilt was in a suitcase that went missing at Chicago's O'Hare International Airport at international terminal #5 on February 20. Also in the suitcase was a quilt by Libby Lehman.

The quilt and luggage have been reunited with Ricky! United Airlines might think twice before they take on the quilting community!

Happy Day, happy day. I am just So glad to hear the quilts and Ricky are back together. My friends who must travel with something important send it on ahead by FedEx or UPS or a gang marching for equal rights for the housefly. Anything would be safer! Polly

I have at times hand carried quilts on planes but that was before they started charging for all luggage. Thank goodness for Southwest Airlines, when I next have a chance to fly I will fly from Buffalo so I can take advantage of the 2 bag policy. I've never had a problem with FedEx but have had a few missing or damaged shipments with UPS back in my eBay seller days.

I'm glad the quilt is home,

Judie
