Frood Birthday

Howdy!

Hope you're still celebrating, Wendy/Frood. Happy Birthday this year from yesterday to ... well, at least a week!

Hope there's chocolate, hope there's quilty stuff, hope you don't get lost in that computer game so long that you forget to come up for cake! ;-D

Cheers!

Echoing Sandy's wishes for you. Happy Birthday! I suspect that she can have virtual cake in the game she plays anyway. :) but real ones taste better. Diana

Thank you! I did have a wonderful birthday! I mean, completely amazing! The family (mostly DH but he denies it) planned a type of scavenger hunt for me, based on "that computer game". ;-P My in-game character got a note saying my present was delayed, and I needed to hunt for it, with the help of other in-game characters. A wild-goose chase ensued, with many difficult tasks and quests (including an "escort" quest getting a level 2 priest out of Burning Steppes!). Clues led to a real-life scavenger hunt, with quests handed out by the kids (each with the appropriate ! or ? over their heads). I recieved 1 present for each quest completed. It was all very silly, very elaborate and tons of fun!

In addition to WoW (World of Warcraft for the noobs) presents, I got a nice BIG waffle maker. No more making teeny waffles one at a time! I can make a whole dinner's worth of waffles at once! And a cool T-shirt with a pirate ship with a quilted sail - If Pirates Were Quilters. LOL!

Quilting week has been going well - I wrote my monthly newsletter article for our guild. My topic this month was organization (which made my children roll on the floor with laughter). I will be working on getting my sewing room set up (you know, because the realms are down for maintenance....)

Oh, yeah, the important part! Miss Fussy Rose and DD#1 made the cake -

2 layers of devil's food cake with homemade chocolate frosting. Very delicious!

More details of the quest chain is posted over at alt.games.warcraft, in case anyone is interested. That is one of the more rigid newsgroups, in terms of posting ettiquette, and I'm sure I'll get flames for even posting it there. However, it is clearly marked for those that don't want to read it.

Only double 4's ?????? I'm heading for double nickles:) Guys are teasing me that I'll only get 55 nickels for my HB (Every year for the kidlets HB they got 5 of for their 5th HB, 6 of for their 6th HB, etc) and I *have to go* to the local Casino to 'enhance my booty'. 'course I do enjoy ONE restaurant there--so dinner is included :) And me--oh so....... NOT........ into casinos or slot machines (I'm finished completely after $20.00 at the quarter machine)--so I'll let DH play them--he enjoys it and USUALLY makes his money back. Once he made $60. and we were tickled :) I enjoy watching him play as it's jut fun seeing him have fun :) Sounds like you had a neat HB. GREAT!

Don't stop celebrating yet---you have the rest of the week or month and then you can help mecelbrate starting the 1st......

Happy Birthday

Butterfly (Butterfly For President-will you be my "Captain" of the Army, Navy, Marines, Coast Guard, and Pirates please)

Sounds like tons of fun ... a Birthday to remember. Pat's Original Virginia Fife and Drum Corps is marching and playing cool songs all this week, including a few rounds of Birthday Song just for you.

Belated good wishes and hugs, PAT

I must respectfully decline this commission. Pirates just don't swing that way. However, with the promise of enough booty, er, due compensation, I might be persuaded to be one of your Privateers. ;-)
