Good store experience

Is it ok to post great customer service? I hope so... anyhow I just ordered from Dakota Cabin Quilts, and they went out of their way to help me :) First they phoned about the bolt from which I ordered as it was not in stock, then they phoned back because they looked for one that matched what I needed, and they are making sure it doesnt contain too much green for me too, even though its a bolt with a lot of green in it. Compared to my expereinces here in my local store... its snobby and I feel like an intruder when go there lol Dakota Cabin Quilts were really helpful and nice and friendly... now I wish I could live there hehe But I live in Canada too so that is long distance for them to be calling I just previously ordered from them too and the items came really fast :) So NAYY but I had two great expereinces with them :) Thought I might pass it along.

Lol I bought the Hoffman amber Butterflies and dragonflies, someone else helped me to locate a bit ago... as to where I live hmmm is my stash safe?? lol I am in lower mainland BC. Close to Vancouver but far enough away to keep my sanity :)

Tea hey... yay I keep all that stuff in my neighbors house who doesnt quilt lol ;) Which exit did you take to Seattle? My dad crossed at my exit when went to Seattle a fews ago. But there are other crossings that are very close.

One of the extra services I receive from an LQS south of here (in Stephenville, Texas, where my in-laws live) is a kind of yellow pages/ recommendation when I call or email questions. Like: What's a good local flower shop? Stephenville Florist (the owner lives 2 blocks from the in-laws ). Where's a good place to... and they always have a good recommendation. My family knows a trip to S-ville will include a trip to The Flying Needle. Can't resist good customer service.

month I emailed and asked, "How much of the Moda line ofHill Country do you have in stock?" They sent me pictures,that day, of what was on the shelves. I Cruised downthe next day and stocked up. ;-D So, Carissa, what's this green fabric? Hmmm? How much are you getting? I love-love-love green.

I love green... but this time I was actually looking for less of it. Go figure. It was a Hoffamn Claret Bolt 2 versus bolt 1... bolt one had less green but sadly they were out. I have lots of other great greens though, including a newly aquired moda marble lime color :) It was for a halloween quilt I did in green... of all the traditional halloween colors to chose from lol.
