Grandma passed away today

Dear Diana, My sympathy to you. How comforting that you have such wonderful memories of your dear grandma! I was born on my maternal grandma's birthday, and we were always close. But I never understood how much she loved me until I became a grandma myself! So you will grow even closer to her, as you age yourself. I feel like my work now with Tanzanian grandmas raising their AIDS-orphaned grandkids is a memorial to all of us with unforgettable, much-loved grandmothers. -- Bibi Jann

Treasure those memories...it was also my Grandma who introduce me to sewing.....you couldn't ask for a better gift. I have a picture of my Grandmother and the sewing machine music box I gave her in my sewing room....just a hint...get a frame and go for it. Pami

Diana I am so sorry to hear of your Grandma's passing. It's really hard to lose a grandparent that you love so much. My Grandmother died four years ago and I miss her so much. I was thinking about her a few days ago and remembering the good times I had with her and Granddaddy. He passed in 1982. They are together again now and I'm happy for that.
