This morning my grandma (90) went take her seat at the big quilters frame in Heaven. Grandma was my inspiration to be a quilter. I used to seat under her quilting frame and push the needle back to the top. All the while listening to her tell of her childhood and how she met grandpa and raised 12 children and out lived Grandpa and four other children. I also learned to cook watching her glide around her kitchen never measuring just a pinch of this a palm of that and a ladle of whatever else. Grandma has been in an Alzheimer fog for about 4 yrs with fewer and fewer lucid days.
