Roberta, I am so happy for you. There's just nothing like being a granny. You have to choose a name, you know. Anything from mimi and maymay to Grandmother. Usually baby decides and you enjoy it. Celebrating with you, Polly

Hmmm - never yeard of it. I'll have to start reading up on this stuff.

Thank you! I also thought it was awfully pricey for something that can be made fairly easily. I *do* have lots of fabric left. That's a good idea! Now at least I know what a Boppy is. Sherry
My daughter & daughter-in-law both used the boppies a lot.

Many, many congrats, Roberta (soon to be known as "Grandma)!
So do we get to see pics of the baby quilt?

I'm going to hold you to that promise, Roberta! :-)

Roberta, that is simply gorgeous. I think the delight you are feeling for the coming baby shows in the gleams and sparkles of the fabrics you chose. It's beautiful - lovely pattern too; great quilting. . In message , Roberta writes
Wow! I didn't even notice the binding, Roberta -- that quilt is
*gorgeous*! You may have noticed that I'm crazy about feathered quilting, and yours is exquisite! I love the color flow in the zigzags, too. Wonderful! :)I KNOW you are happy, Roberta, because I remember how you've dropped not so subtle hints about wanting Grandkids. So, I am very happy for you!! Congrats. Pat in Virginia
Woo hoo! Baby Z/R will outshine all other infants in the quilt department! I also like the Shades of Gray Slant Bargello. Did you use the Marge Edie book for that one? I took a class from Marge while she was developing that book. I made one in shades of magenta, purple, blue. A sister has it now. PAT in VA/USA

Oh Roberta, I LOVE that quilt. It is so bright and cheerful. Very interesting pattern too. Perfect for your new grandbaby.
Thanks for taking the time to take the picture. :-)

It is absolutely gorgeous. All of your quilts are. Such tiny pieces on some of them, too -- I really love your work.
