Guess I missed post sent yesterday under my name

A kind member of this newsgroup sent me cyber hugs for the message that was sent under my name yesterday. I was gone all day and didn't even know my name and address had been hyjacked. Sorry for any problems this troll is causing. I see that the message has been removed. Thanks to whoever took care of that.

Hope my original message about working with batiks was delivered. The message was simply "pre-wash batiks or you might regret it". I relayed a story of a friend who had just completed a masterpiece applique wallhanging and the bird made from blue batik bled while she was removing the quilting lines. That story was sad enough. Guess the troll had another story (and pictures?)

I did a search for how to report to Usenet. I am not sure this is correct or not but you all may way to try this newsgroup. I saw some reporting going on there but I also saw some pretty filthy language too. But, and I am not condoning the language, it was in response to people's stupidity. news.admin.net-abuse.usenet

Susan sorry they chose your name or anyone's name on the list for such tacky things. That is something we all have to deal with on the net. I don't believe there is a way to stop this from happening but you can stop individuals. I have had my website since 1996 and it has been hacked into a number of times. Once they removed all my index pages and put up trash, but I caught this almost as soon as it happened. The last time they hacked into mountain-breeze.com they set up a fake site to Wells Fargo Bank, and were collecting usernames and passwords. Boy that was a mess to clear up although they could clearly tell it was not me that did it. There have been many times that I just wanted to give up my website but it does bring in a little revenue and anything extra helps.

Sorry to ramble,

No problem to me, Susan. I have a delete button and when something appears that is trash, I just dump it. Polly Susan Laity Price wrote
