Happy 4th of July!

Howdy!

I quilted. I heard fireworks. I enjoyed the flowers and other gifts. I celebrated my 35th wedding anniversary w/ my super husband. And then I ate chocolate! ;-D

Cheers!

I turned a gloomy abysmal failure into a Happy Dance! I did, I did. I had pieced a log cabin with scrappy strings. Somehow the pattern got lost - didn't look like log cabins, just looked strange. Decided this was a good place to play with 'Hooked on Feathers' and play I did. Accompanied by the film special for John Wayne and swapping over to PBS for grand music, I feathered. Of course, log cabins don't logically feather but it didn't matter. The quilt was a boring Boring dud. WaaaHuuu. It is just so pretty. Don't try this at home. Feathered logs is a rather ridiculous concept - don't you think? Polly

Happy anniversary, and have many more. We made our local fireworks on the

3rd---too tired to go to other stuff in the area. We'd just got back from a 4,463 mile vacation! Gen
