Happy Dancing!

Feb 15, 2008 12 Replies

Officially finished one of my projects for this year! A baby quilt for a young woman who works with my DH. The baby was born a few months ago -- but it's still chilly here in Michigan ... so the flannel will be just perfect... or should I say just "ducky"!

Delivery to the new mom this weekend is planned.

Pictures! Pictures! :^)

I forgot to say -- pictures in my webshots album... which will make the "ducky" reference make sense!!!

I love that quilt. It is bright enough to fascinate a baby learning to focus those beautiful eyes and it just sooo sweet and cuddly. Well done, Kate. We'll have to Happy Dance on the sidewalk, the Swamp is both icy and boggy and the gators are right cranky. Congratulations on a beautiful quilt. Polly

Lovely, Kate. I really, really like the 'sawtooth' border. It works so well with the pinwheels. . In message , Kate G. writes

Awwww! That is so pretty! It looks so soft. The pic just makes me want to touch it. Your quilting is *gorgeous*.

The quilt is mine... the quilting is the courtesy of my WONDERFUL long arm quilter from Minnesota. She does most all of my quilts... and does them so wonderfully! To really see HER work -- check out the kimono quilt in my webshots album (Kathy's Quilts). She is definitely PHENOMENAL!!! I'm lucky to have found her!

Love, love, love it. Very nice job Kate!! I'm sure the new mom and baby will love it too!!!

Congratulations, Kate! :) It's adorable -- I think that triangle border really accents it well. The quilting motif is just perfect for a baby! Where did you find that?
