Howdy!
From another quilt list:
My husband went to Ohio a couple of weeks ago to help a friend race his motorcycle. He flew into Cleveland, then drove down to where the racetrack is.
His first stop when he left the rent a car place was a quilt shop, then he stopped at another in another town. Of course, he didn't tell me about it, but he had done an internet search before he left and found the shops in the area. He did the same thing when he went to California a few months ago and brought me back fabric then too. I had told him not to buy any fabric this time, to spend the money on himself.
Well, the night he got home, he laid 3 one yard cuts of fabric on my desk for me to find. He has wonderful taste by the way. Over the next 10 days, I would find fat quarters, half yard cuts and even a Take 5 bundle on my desk, the ironing board and in my recliner. We decided it must the the fabric fairy. We both had so much fun with it!
I'm planning to go on a retreat with my guild in March, Tom says he can't wait to see what the motorcycle parts fairy brings to him when I get back! I'm afraid he's going to be very disappointed since I know very little about his motorcycles. ~~~~~
Is this guy a Keeper or what?!!!? I'm sending this post to my darling husband who always asks for new ideas. Easy to reciprocate as I know well his favorite hobbies.
Cheers! Ragmop/Sandy--who sent flowers & balloons to work for his b-day this week so he'd get lots of ribbing for turning 50; he loved it! ;-D
