SInce both Butterfly and DOnna got such a kick out of my hillbilly writing...........
I have found that the more stressed things get, the more I need a good laugh, and I think most people are like that.
Since Butterfly responded with the start of a silly typo accent, I figured that I would respond with an even thicker accent. With the nonsense that I had to go through the past couple of days, it was a release for me as well as a way to cheer Mom Butterfly up.
The typo-accent I used is what I call my inlaw-speak. I love my inlaws dearly, they are sweet people with a shared great sense of humor. My brothers-in-law are probably the best - they can tease this so-called yankee gal and get teased back by her with no hard feelings or hurtful things being said. It is actually one of the brothers that I modeled the typing after....he's a hoot!! When we first met, Ken told him my name was Larisa, Norman responded with "Melissa" . I told him he could call me Lara (short form of my name in Russian), he responded with "Laurel, as in Laurel and Hardy" . I told him that he could either call me Ma'am or not talk to me at all.....all of this was said with big grins...he knew I wasn't used to Mississippi boys, and I knew he wasn't used to girls from Northern Maryland (born and raised around Baltimore).
Anyway, if I provided a good chuckle to Butterfly and others, I have done my job.
