You might have caught it from me, Nana, but it sounded like a much worse case. I could see me, I just couldn't see such known dangerous terrorist as Sunny and Nightmist. Don't know if I can see NM or not. Has she given us a report post hit and run? Sure would like to know that her DD is doing well. Polly

You know, I am a mod on a discordian group called "the cabal of the holy terrorist pretzel". Could be that the paperwork from the GW Bush administration has finally caught up to me! (G)

I have not heard a word from DD since boxing day. She was stiff and sore over Christmas, and had to rewrap her supporting bandages frequently because DGS wanted lots of mama snuggles. The bitty bits seem to know when we are walking wounded and try to snuggle it better. Her bruising was rather spectacular given a few hours to "ripen". They had her wrapped from shoulder to wrist on her right arm, and of course around her torso.

The 27th was my parent's anniversary which entailed what seemed like forever on the phone between talking to them, and talking to every relative east of the Mississippi who seemed to think it made more sense to call me instead of them. Then yesterday was DH and my anniversary. We spent much of it at the library away from the phone. Alas, the phone caught up with us today. So if she tried calling she might not have gotten through.

Today the internet in general seemed rather slow. That may well have been the root of Nana's troubles.

So far a Miz Polly's computer, well, *gives it a fierce glare over the phone lines* we shall have to see what manner of thing we can do about that. I may have DH shake a dead chicken over a voodoo doll computer to see how that does!

Meantime, someone do copy this over for Polly.

Okay. If a voodoo doll and dead chicken is all it takes, we can handle that. And do you wonder about people who phone to visit ( on and on and on)? For some I have given up saying, " Can't talk, I'm washing the dog, frying pickles and the doorbell's ringing". They just say, "No problem, I won't take but a minute." Yeah. Right. Polly
