I'm back - OT & On (a little long)

I had a great vacation and even got to go to one not-so-local QS in SD, in Hill City, called the Quilt Corral. I got the last 2 sparkly fat quarters for my sparkly quilt (the pattern calls for 36 FQs!) And of course some other pieces that I "just couldn't resist". Of course, my great grand son was born *on his due date* while I was gone, but everyone is fine. He weighed in at 9lbs, 2 oz and was 21" long! Sheesh! Thank you all so much for your prayers for his health, and the health of his Daddy, who has now been deployed to Iraq. I just this morning got the SR table cleaned off, and am going to do some piecing/assembling tonight on a top I have in work. DH finally found a new job, and is quite busy and relatively happy, so that's a relief, too. Oh, and I have a new grandson on the way, due the end of this month. My son and his girl (the ones who were living with us) moved to OR in March, not knowing they were preggers. Sheesh! How can you be 6 months along and not notice?! Anyway, they are happy, especially since he already has 2 girls (the older one has a different mom), and he really wanted a boy. They are naming him David William, after dad (DH) and her grandpa. That's enough bragging for now. Lots of love & prayers for everyone, and I promise to try to do a better job of keeping up, at least until the garden is ready to harvest in late July. :-)

I love Hill City, SD! We have gone to the Quilt Corral on at least 2 occasions either while we were in Deadwood, SD, or when we were leaving. In fact, we may be in Deadwood the last of September.

you'd be surprised, our 2nd baby was planned, we conceived at the first attempt, I still failed to notice I was pregnant until almost 8 weeks.

Cheers
