Ciao Nico You might have seen mention of the Directory. That is a list of those of us who wanted to be on it. It is in no way compulsory. The list contains our postal addresses and dates of birth. Now that you have been here a while you must look out for a notice giving us the date when the next one will start to be compiled. The kind people who make this up are quite careful that only those people who seem to be genuinely on the group are included. You have now posted quite a lot and have joined in the threads, so will probably be fine.

Until the next one comes out (the latest one is being worked on as we speak - thanks Alice) you could always ask the person you want to send something to for an address. Don't worry though, the day will come when you will have the full facility. The Directories are done twice a year if possible, but that can not always be done as the Directory is a lot of work to compile. . In message , pomodoro writes

Birthdays are among the possible included information in the directory....I suspect that may be how many of the birthday squishers know who and when to send goodies to.... others I suspect, slog through old messages (or save them when they come up) for indications of when others birthdays are.....for example, I believe while posting about issues with my grandfather last spring before he passed I mentioned my birthday was near since he last went into the hospital the day before my birthday, etc. so someone may store that information away to use "against" me at some point ;)

I don't doubt some on the group would like Italian fabric *snicker*

Then there are those of us that aren't in the Directory on purpose. One way of getting our addys is to ask that person or ask someone that has been on here for awhile and they will find out for you and let you know.

You could also ask to 'swap one-on-one' for certain fabrics. For instance: you post that you are collecting blue and would like to exchange for what someone else is collecting (say red). You send them a FQ of red and they send you a FQ of blue.
