in need of some quilting suggestions

Fellow quilters,

Since you guys are so talented and full of wonderful ideas, I thought I would solicit you to asssit me in a MQ design for the quilt in the album "Ideas & ..." as opposed to sitting on it for a while until something comes to mind (this quilt has been done for over 4 months). I'm at a lost as to how I should approach the quilting.

I thought of stippling in the leaf blocks (background) with some outlining (leaf) and MQ an oak leaf pattern in the square surrounded by some continuous cable design.

I'm looking forward to your suggestions. Thank you for your time.

I'm not terribly imaginative when it comes to MQ ideas, but I think in this case I might be tempted to do a sort of wind-blown leaf pattern all over this quilt -- as though the leaves were scattered randomly in an autumn breeze.

Wow Sandy, I love the glorified nine patch. How unique! That is a really cool design, another one I will have to print and put in my binder for future reference. Tina

Thanks, Tina! I'm still debating how I want to quilt that one. I'm also trying to decide whether to go ahead and start with my current machine or wait and do it on the new one that should be coming soon. Decisions, decisions.... ;)

I like the idea of scattered leaves. I think I'd add some acorns scattered around with the leaves. Debra in VA
