And tomorrow is a big day here. Last year, the first hummingbirds came home on March 13th. Nothing has been Normal this year except the setting on the clothes dryer but we are ready and prepared in case our precious hummers come in. How we do miss those precious little birds. Polly

Oh Polly, If you ever get to the San Diego Zoo they have a whole little enclosure full of hummingbirds. You can sit in there and it is amazing. We have them all year here. They are pretty friendly and I really enjoy them a lot. One sits at watch every morning in trees outside the back door. RIght up on top like he owns the place and he takes nothing from any bird wandering in his territory! God was having a great moment when he made hummingbirds. I have a paper pieced pattern for a hummingbird wall hanging. Maybe I should find it and put it together. I really don't enjoy pp much though. Hope your birds get home safe today.

We loved the hummingbird house at the San Diego Zoo! Being from the East, we never knew there were so many different types of hummers! And they sing! That was a shock - our hummers just buzz as they whizz by our ears.

WooHOOO!!! I will be working on the first of the signature quilts that need to be done by the end of May...and of course, Irish girl that i am, I'll be sporting some green....hairdresser said she was going to write herself a note because she KNOWS that if she isn't wearing green when I walk in, she's gonna get pinched!!

Larisa, who actually always wears green...if you count the ink in my tats!!

I'll spend part of the day working on DGS's nap quilt for nursery school next year. :) Our guild's show is the following weekend: March 23-25. :)
