Looks like it always has, Marlys. I reckon you got it right. Are you moving to the Green/Lime with Pat on Her Hill? Polly
And I'm Dragonfly and have been since I changed to that moniker on r.c.t.q. in 1999 or so in the midst of a scary personal relationship....
Dragonfly
Problem was that on the header it showed me as marmarlet after my last computer took a horrible crash into cyberspace last year (actually the year before). And I had never noticed that I wasn't showing on the header as Marlys in Indiana as well as in the signature line. So that is what I was trying to fix. Guess I got it right. Love it! I'm not sure I understand the Green/Lime thing. Splain me, Polly. Marlys in Indiana
green is a shade of LIME. i love LIME. i started that bit. our Pat(in the UK) is moving from 'Pat on the Hill' down into the village. villages in the UK usually have what is called a green. a small central park of sorts. a few benches, lovely trees, maybe a fountain but definitely lots of green grass so they call it a green, thats it more or less. all villages also have a local pub aka a bar. in a pub one drinks alcohol, as a rule. LIME is used in a margarita. i just thot Pat on the LIME would cover both the village green aspect and i figure she'll probly be in the pub maybe downing the occasional margarita and if its a few of those she could end up on flaked out on the green making her Pat on the LIME on the green. all clear as mud, eh. maybe you've had too many margaritas then and you should be 'Marlys on the LIME on the green'. heck most of us have some lawn aka green around the place somewhere to flake out for a nice nap after a visit to our local pub or bar. j.

We went to a pub in Pensacola after the quilt show. That crazy place has over half a million dollars in $1 bills tacked to the ceiling and walls - all autographed by real Irishmen of every race, creed, color and mindset. That was fun to see. We didn't have spirits. Figured we needed whatever there was left of us to get home safely. They had a wonderful funny old green bus in the parking lot. That takes 'designated driver' to a whole new level. Polly O'Esther
does it count as a driver(designated or not) if ya dont turn on the engine? i could see a bunch of overindulged irishmen with one up front steering and the rest of them pushing the bus. just another one of my weird thots. being as st pats day is over the horizon seems an appropriate discussion. j.
