Kicking up from the bottom of the sewing pond

Hi everyone, Not a lot of quilting done, but our house is moving along nicely now. My sister asked me to make a Jemima doll (from the ABC playschool program here in Oz) for my niece. So I have made said Doll, a set of PJs, a fancy frock and a nurse's uniform from a 1940's pattern I cam across on the web. My niece is 3 and loves "Bemima" and her "doctor's box". Pics here. Hoping to knock up a quick couple of cushions to keep my hand in. Once I've gone round the house and screwed the bracing on... Cheers, Fay

Bemima will also need a quilt, a mattress and a Moses basket to sleep in. (While you're up from the bottom of the pond.) The doll is precious and will be treasured. Good for you, Fay. Polly

Oooh, yes! Now where is that "bright" fabric that's sulking at the back of my stash...

What a wonderful aunt you are, Fay! The doll is adorable, as are her lovely clothes. :)

Howdy!

That is so cute! Way to go, Fay. Lucky niece.
