takes a lil while to make the salad--I usually start in the early AM to have it ready for lunch..gotta have a few rest breaks in there--peel taters, rest. chop taters, rest etc 'cept now ..its DH or DS that'll be doing it cause I'm OFF chopping and peeling everything for 2 weeks. Sure glad I have a few quilty projects cut and ready to go:) Butterfly

Butterfly, just give a call anytime you need some quilting company. Or at least send me an address so I can mail your "welcome to the valley" squishy to you.

Hmmm. I haven't been to AZ in 4 or 5 years. And the last trip was to Yuma in July. Boy, it was hot. Can I come in February when its only 80? We could still have a picnic, and I'd be happy to help out in the kitchen. :-)

How bout if you come when we are about to move again into OUR own home once again (this lease is up in Jan)...you can help 'repack' the fabric that I might have out by then--free fondling:) And who knows what else might a=happen--just ask Ginger...where IS she by the way?

Hmm. That's a tempting offer - free fondling in a warm cliamte in Jan. Let me see about that. And I haven't heard from Ginger in a few weeks, either.

Come in March when we have the quilt show. Great way to spend National Quilting Day.

(Nobody with sense willingly goes to Yuma anytime between June and Sept. at least.)

Pati, in Phx

We were going through Yuma one July when the AC in the borrowed RV decided to spew hot air -- right into the vehicle. We managed to find a place to park (the owners kindly opened their camp ground for us), but even the swimming pool on site was *hot*! Ugh.

Our quilt show should also be around the same time as Pati's, I think.... :)

But, but, but .....Miss B-Fly needs someone to help her move house in January!! And I don't think I can afford to come twice in 3 months! Yikes!

(The trip in July was in response to the death of a dear friend - so I didn't have much choice. Sigh.)
