Last day for September Siggy Swap Signup

Well, today the signup for the September signature swap closes. We have a wonderful group of 23 so far. If you are interested in joining (one more would give us a 4 x 6 quilt top, hint, hint), today is the last day to sign up. Just send me an email with Siggy swap in the subject line. You must be willing to make at least 24 simple blocks and get them to me by the end of November. The block is 6.5" unfinished, muslin or white center surrounded by 2" strips. The side strips represent one of your favorite colors, and the top and bottom represent a second favorite color. The center block contains your name, ng name, location and the year.

Actually, unless people put their own siggy block into their quilt (most people don't) you'd need 2 more people for everyone to get a 4 x 6 quilt.

Do you have a specific block you are talking about? A url? Just wondering if they will be uniform or just as long as they are 2 diff colors with the center sig.

Well, LN, this swap group is not made up of "most people"! I intend to put my siggy square into my quilt, others can do the same or use a plain block or do something else. We're all in this together, I just figured our blocks should do the same.

Here is an example of what kind of square I am thinking of. This shows 4 of them together in a unit to make up a 12" block, but it will give you an idea of the siggy block.

Pat, that may have been just before I joined the group. I don't remember that swap. But it sure sounds like it was a fun time. Talk about the ultimate hug!

That's what I pictured. Thanks.
