You should -- I did one in 2" squares (2" unfinished - I think). It was great fun. I used the fusible with the squares drawn on it. Made it quite simple. Let me focus on the fabric and design without worrying about the sewing part -- that all came together perfectly!

Hi Anita, I love that technique. I have only tried it once and had a great time with it. Only have to put the backing on and quilt it. The"to-finish" list gets longer!

Very nice. I have a pattern for a cross on a hill but don't think I will use 1" squares. Maybe 2 ".
